ok. So all you have to do to make it a problem that has all real numbers as solution is add or subtract some value to one side to make both sides equal. Use the problem you posted. The left side becomes -3x-9. The right side becomes -3x-3-5. So, all you would need to make this problem have all real numbers as solution is to subtract one more to the right hand side. You could change the right side to -3(x+1)-6 and that would work.

This equation would have all real numbers as solution because the right side would be identical to the left side.

-3(x+3)=-3(x+1)-6 would work as your equation with all real numbers.
