Put your equation into the form \[y=Acos(wx-\phi)\] and your Amplitude will be \[\left| A \right| \] and your period will be \[T=\frac{ 2\pi }{ \omega } \] Please note that the w should be an omega, I am just having a hard time with this equation editor. It doesn't like me!
