In a system of capacitors connected to a 15 volt battery capacitor C1 has a capacitance of 8 microFarads and is connected in series to a system of parallel capacitors C2, C3, C4 which all have a capacitance of 2 microFarads and this system is in turn connected in series to a system of parallel capacitors C5 and C6 which all have a capacitance of 8 microFarads and this system is connected to the other end of the 15V battery. Based on this data I was able to calculate the charge of the system to be 42.3529 microCoulombs. (Diagram)-(+Battery)-(C1)-(C2,C3,C4)-(C5,C6)-(-Battery)
I believe that the charge on C1 is equal to the charge of the system so i was able to calculate the potential difference V of C1 (from the equation q=CV) to be 5.2941 Volts. and from here, I am lost on how to find the potential difference/charge across the other capacitors.
