Is rotional kinematics the same as circular motion;gravitation? Please give me an answer.
rotational kinematics describes the analysis of bodies that are rotating about some axis. Circular motion due to gravitation is a form of uniform circular motion.
I would say rotational kinematics are the kinematic equations that deal with circular motion. Hope that helps.
Thanks Azolotor, and sixsims. Your guy's answer really helped me understand the difference between the two, and the hassle of studying for the one that will not be on my next exam.
rotational motion is like the motion of car's wheel,,, on the other hand,,,circular motion is the motion that has a circular track,,,
Rotational motion makes sense only for a whole collection of points, such as a solid. Circular motion is a type of motion for a point on its own. They are sometimes mistaken, because, if a solid rotates about a fixed axis, then ALL its points have circular motions. Their common angular velocity is equal to the rotational velocity of the solid.
