is anyone going to flvs ?

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

i have flvs for history :3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what subject?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

geometry? *wild guess*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes lol

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what's the query?

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

ur awesome at guessing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im done with everything but that geometry goshh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess but its so hard

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @ryan123345 ;D lol @divagirl421 come at me bro! (with that geometry of course..)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha ugh ikr

and @yummydum Provide the ordered pairs for two congruent triangles on the coordinate plane. Explain, using complete sentences, how you know these triangles are congruent. Provide the ordered pairs for two similar triangles on the coordinate plane. Explain, using complete sentences, how you know these triangles are similar. Provide the ordered pairs for two triangles that have no relationship on the coordinate plane. Explain, using complete sentences, how you know these triangles have no relationship. The designers of a skateboard park are building a ramp and need a scaled-down model of one of their ramps. The side view of the actual ramp, labeled JKL, and the side view of the model, labeled PQR, is shown below. What would be the coordinates of a new point R that will make the model version of the ramp similar to the actual ramp? Explain your reasoning using complete sentences.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright so like when you guys are done discussing it's difficulty lemme know what the actual *problem* seems to be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yupp but now i have four classes you in flordia too thats wassupp im in miami tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

crap..what did i sign up for o_o lol sorry jk...lemme take a look

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol idk wth to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha i take full classes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im home schooled i have the core courses i take math reading science and career resarch class i had six classes but got kicked out of p.e didnt want to do that class but my mom so i have to so i got withdrew from that class and the other class too but im doing good now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha thats good maybe we good help each other:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah what grde are you in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

ha i live in miami :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i live in orlando

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ryan123345 thats wassupp

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

yee!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im going to Miami for the summer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeeee omgee yayeee

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol im excited

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey you have facebook

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha and @ryan123345 what grade are you guys in

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha me?

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wowwww your in geo and only a 8th grader thats really good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha yes ill message u my link

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol yup im really mature for my age people are like wow your a 8 grader you act like you 17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i am 17

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol cool

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

awww ur the same age as my sis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool you saw my fb page oh yeah your pretty you should be a model

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so for the first one, you should know the definition of a congruent triangle, which is any two triangles with the same measurements. you should have learned of SAS, AAS, AAA, SSS, ASA theorems, which help prove two triangles' congruency. given that, plot point on a graph for 2 triangles that have the same side lengths (SSS).then describe your process in words (complete sentences since this is FLVS -.-) Ex: triangle ABC, A(0,1) B(3,1) C(3,5) and triangle XYZ, X(-5,0) Y(-1,0) Z(-5,3) for the second one, similar triangles are triangles that have the same \(proportions\). meaning they should have the same angle measures (AAA) but can have different, but proportional, side lengths. plot such points and explain, again, in some retarded complete sentences what you did. Ex: triangle ABC, A(0,0) B(0,2) C(1,2) and triangle XYZ, X(3,0) Y(0,4) Z(5,4) for the third one, triangle with no relationship have unequal angles and unequal side lengths so pretty much just draw two random triangles, paying attention that they do not match in angles or sides. then of course, explain in complete sentences what you did and why it is so. Ex: triangle ABC, A(-2,0) B(-3,2) C(-1,1) and triangle XYZ, X(1,2) Y(3,4) Z(0,3) for the word problem, i need you to send the picture ma'am :) but since i dont have time, ill explain. to make the model an actual ramp similar, you would have to have them be proportional. so like lets say if the actual ramp JKL is JK=24, KL=32 and JL=40 then the model ramp PQR would be like PQ=3, QR=4 and PR=5 hope this makes sense :) @divagirl421

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha aww thanks but im to scared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its asking for a log in which i would appreciate you not providing, and i'm glad i was a help gotta go peeps!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why your very photogenic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @yummydum :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hi_im_tasha caz i dont like spotlight

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh
