Len'z law Magnet + Copper pipe.

OpenStudy (oneowone):

When a magnet is applied kinetic energy of 100Joules and passes through a copper pipe, that 100J will be converted to electrical energy and the magnet will lose its input energy. In order for me to keep that magnet moving throughout the copper pipe I should reapply the 100J again to make move out? Example: |dw:1361190505733:dw| As the magnet approaches the pipe, it startes to lose the energy applied to it more and more. And probably if the copper pipe can converte the magnet's energy of motion 90 - 99% to electricity the magnet will lose it motion and will stop inside the copper pipe. To move the magnet again I would have to apply the 100J again, or constantly apply the 100J ? What do you think? WIll the magnet lose its motion and will have to apply the energy all over again?
