meant to add +1 up top
I'm guessing that it's -16.
because 6/-12 is -1/2.
it's not one of the answer choices but how did you get it?

6/(x+2) = 1/2 Cross multiply 6(2) = x+4 12 = x+4 X = 12-4 = 8
