(b^2-(4*a*c) is called the discriminant, as c is so large you get (9-720) which is (-711), which means no real roots. Discriminant < 0 means no real roots = 0 means 1 repeating root > 0 means two roots To get a solution you'd have to go into the realms of complex numbers
