I need help with this formula (a+b)(a^2-2ab-b^2) very badly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to know if I set it up correctly. I feel as if I may have the signs confused. If I dont, could someone inform me on how to do the negative version of it also?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for reversed signs .... same signs equal positive, different signs equal positive...multiply it out yourself so its ingrained in your head

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a - b)(a 2 + ab + b 2) this is the actual equation that I need help with I just realized.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply out, learn sign rules and index rules for multiplication and division.

Would it be (a - b)(a^2 + ab + b^2) always and then the opposite is (a + b)(a^2 - ab + b^2) always?
