Does this make sense :The women who wanted voting rights got because they wouldn't back down from doing what they knew was right, even when they disagreed on the African American voting rights they got through it because they knew if they wanted to be able to fight they had to set their differences aside. And when they wanted to prove women could do what men did, they started getting "men" jobs and proved to the government they needed the right to vote.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh yay your here :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesnt make sense to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hee hee, yeah. :) All right give me about 30 secs to read, okay? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! Didn't see that last reply. No worries, I am here to help! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OKay, so you got most of your points down. However, you're going to want to make sure that you phrase things so that they can't be argued against. While you were right, a teacher may look at your work and say, because you didn't say THIS or because you left this fact OUT, your answer is wrong. Does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but do you know what story im referring to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont wan tot be a sissy but I just need help making sense out of this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

! Le gasp!~ Okay... 0_0 didn't realize this was in reference to a story! Would you mind telling me? I immediately went to a history analysis. Oops!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And don't worry, you're not being a sissy. You're just being accurate, dotting your i's, crossing your t's, that sort of thing. ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The women who wanted voting rights gotWHAT THEY WANTED because they wouldn't back down from doing what they knew was right, DESPITE THE FACT even when they disagreed on the African American voting rights they got through it. THEY GOT THROUGH IT BECAUSE they knew if they wanted to be able to fight they had to set their differences aside. A;SO when they wanted to prove women could do what men did, they started getting "men" jobs WHEN WORLD WAR 1 BROKE OUTand proved to the government they needed the right to vote

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DOES THAT MAKE SENSE AND THE CAPITALS ARE MY EDITINGS

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A;SO >>>>>>>>>> means>>>>>also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay heres the story just give me a minute:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

http://www.jhs185.org/winter2012/ELAPacket8.pdf is the link to the story just scroll down and youll find a story about womens rights " called the fight for the right to vote"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha ha, yes, it makes sense, and your answer is pretty good! Okay, so I read everything now! Okay, a few small changes:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"ALSO, AS A RESULT OF WW1, MEN BEGAN LOSING THEIR JOBS AS THEY GOT DRAFTED INTO THE WAR. THE COUNTRY WAS IN ECONOMIC DANGER. SUFFRAGISTS wanted to prove that women WERE EQUAL TO MEN, AND they started getting "men" jobs WHEN WORLD WAR 1 BROKE OUT. THIS IS HOW THEY BEGAN TO prove to the government they needed AND DESERVED the right to vote." You don't have to keep all the changes, but I included them for clarity's sake. Do you kind of see what I mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry could replie to you asap i was performing ablution!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sO this is it: The women who wanted voting rights got WHAT THEY WANTED because they wouldn't back down from doing what they knew was right, DESPITE THE FACT even when they disagreed on the African American voting rights they got through it. THEY GOT THROUGH IT BECAUSE they knew if they wanted to be able to fight they had to set their differences aside. THIS IS HOW THEY BEGAN TO prove to the government they needed AND DESERVED the right to vote."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? Hmm... Is Tahmina your real name? It sounds Hebrew... And ablution... are you Jewish or Christian?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tahmina is a persian name and is my real name

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But im not really persian im muslim bengali

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to perform ablution before everytime I pray

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so thats what i was doing :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks for your help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh! wow! That's very interesting. Do you have to perform ablution EVERY time you pray? Even if it's a quick prayer, like, "Please help my friend?" Anyway, you are very welcome! And one last thing - "They go through it because they knew if they wanted to be able to fight FOR EQUALITY they had to set their differences aside. "

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the medal :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, wow! Thank you for explaining that. I am a Christian, but you and I believe a lot of the same things! Isn't that interesting? Do you pray for a long while, or for a short while, or just whatever? Thank you for explaining, and you DESERVED a medal. I always give one when I feel that the asker isn't just like, "Give me the answer, give me the answer!" You actually did the work, and I wish I could give you more than just one medal. Great work! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its takes like 10-15 minutes each prayer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wish the same you explained it to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha ha, you're okay. it's about you, and how well you do. I'm just a helper. :) And like I said before, if you ever need any more help, feel free to do what you did today! :D It was a pleasure helping you, but now I must go. I've just been mentioned in a question. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay! thanks so much
