a 36" yield sign, the most commonly used size, is made from a sheet of aluminum that is 36"x36"x36" before the radius is applied to the corners. This results in the yield sign being 34.5" from right to left and 29.5" from top to bottom. Yield Sign is on .080" Aluminum Pre-punched 3/8" mounting holes.

also,Yield signs are measured differently than other traffic signs, as they are unique in shape. They are measured by the length of the sides before the corners are rounded.
