If two solids are similar, the cube of their scale factor is equal to the ratio of their volumes.
In this problem, 4/12 or 1/3 is the scale factor.
Directrix (directrix):
The cube of (1/3) = 24/V where V is the volume of the larger prism.
Directrix (directrix):
(1/3)^3 = 24/V
Solve the equation for V.

Directrix (directrix):
(1/3)^3 = 24/V
1/27 = 24/V
Cross multiply:
V = 27 * 24
V = ? @not_so_smart Just multiply those two numbers.
