The system is allowed to come to rest at the equilibrium position. In this position the spring is stretched 49 cms. The mass is pulled downward from the equilibrium position and released. The resistance of the system is c(dy/dt). Under what condition is the motion oscillatory?critically damped?overdamped?
hmm let me check this up i know for one you'll probably need to switch grams to kg and your mass to slugs? or something idk what the unit it wants it to be in... i'd use SI units so kg and m
All units express in cgs but if u think its more convenient to convert it in mks, its ok though. ^_^ Fyi also, this is a differential equation subject. thanks for helping.
