Select the term that best describes the statement. A triangle is obtuse provided all the angles have a measure greater than 90 degrees. conjunction disjunction negation conditional

OpenStudy (anonymous):

conjunction connects two sentences using "and" disjunction connects two ideas using "or" negation uses "not" conditional uses "if-then" and also is a condition does that give you any ideas?

Directrix (directrix):

This statement is false: A triangle is obtuse provided all the angles have a measure greater than 90 degrees.

Directrix (directrix):

An obtuse triangle has ONE angle with measure greater than 90. These are odd options but if I had to select one, I would go with NEGATION.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Wasn't asking about the truth of the statement, though. I'd go for conditional, because what it really says is "If a triangle has all its angles measure more than 90 degrees, then it is Obtuse"

Directrix (directrix):

I see your point. In this type problem, I always wonder if what is posted is all of the problem.

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Calls for creativity! :D
