can you please help me i GIVE you a MEDAL {attachment}
So you want the percentages?
yeah and da title lol
100 + 200 + 150 + 50 =?
what? it has to be up to 100%
Yes, you are correct we will convert each number into a percent and it will add up to 100%
i am so confusde :/
firstly, you need to add all costs to get "whole sum".
100 + 200 + 150 + 50 = total cost, right?
yeah skullpatrol
@Bevy Any percent must have a total that it is "out of"
The cost column gives you the cost of each item, i.e Raw materials = $100*1000
people i so confused like for reall i am on a test all i ask for help lol
100 + 200 + 150 + 50 = total cost
okay whats the title and is dat the answer
What does the Cost column mean? Is it telling you that you got $1000 and you are spending parts of it on different things?
skullpartol?
Beavy, you need to think about SOMETHING by yourself. We are here to help you, not to be your "math slaves".
so, @skullpatrol is asking what is a total cost, can you tell us it?
i been thinking i dont understand @Kamille
Well, firstly, all you need to do is get a sum of 100 + 200 + 150 + 50 =
can you add up four numbers please?
500?
the title is company product
what does summean may i ask? @Kamille
bevy the title is company product
Sum means when you add some numbers you get a result, thats a meaning of a "sum"
Sum means the "result" of adding
o i did that
the answer is 500.
What is the "answer"?
bevy title:COMPANY PRODUCT
Take each individual number and divide it by the sum; then multiply by 100 this will be the "percent" for that number.
This is a fairly simple question, sad thing it is poorly worded and formatted. Adding them all together is 500 Now think what is 100 / into 5 parts. = 500 Now think real world 20x5 = 100 same thing for 20%x5= 100% 20% times 5 = 100% 20% of 500 is 100 so every 50 = 10% answer: 100=20% 200=40% 50=10% 150=30% Thus giving your answer.
the title is company products
@coreymacg Does just giving away the answer help her learn?
The graph tells you how much of company money is spent and on what. Word it concisely.
I am sure showing how I got the answer is helping her. Working with people Showing how you do something correctly 1 time will help them remember. Not giving confusing questions forcing them to think can just be frustrating. Also, it may make them feel stupid.@skullpatrol
@coreymacg "forcing them to think" will help them the rest of their lives.
Yes and no. Depends on what type of learner they are. Some people learn better by being showed how it is done. (I am one of those people) Others learn better by books and notes. Then the others by actually doing it. So all in all neither I of us are right or wrong for our helping methods. @skullpatrol
Education is what is left after you have forgotten what you have learned in school.
Again, this is still education. I am shower the person how to get the answer. Shoot maybe she will copy and paste this into a word doc and refer to this later. Like I said, depends on the type of learner she is.
But we need to educate with an eye on the future, no?
okay guys i done with that part i dont need help on here in this point
@Bevy Thank you for your attention.
How can we educate them if they do not understand, Because they do not learn by lectures. All it will do is confuse them. http://www.learningguide.org/learningstyles.htm Read that link on type of learners. If you need more in depth I'll get you a Peak Performance: Student Success in College and Beyond book page number and chapter.
