OpenStudy (compassionate):

x + 8 x + 22

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what about x+x+9+2=?

OpenStudy (compassionate):

2x + 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh I see! Thank you so much! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is incomplete

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One more, 10x+2x-7x-10-8+13+

OpenStudy (compassionate):

19x - 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you get that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5(x+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Compassionate u r wrong

OpenStudy (compassionate):

Add like terms. Add the terms that are ALIKE. x + x + 2 + 3 for example. The X's are both like terms. The 2 and 3 are also like terms y + y + x + x for example. The y's cannot be added to the x's, but they can be added to the y's to get 2y.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

@sambhav__jain , No, I am not.

OpenStudy (compassionate):

10x+2x-7x-10-8+13+ We're simplifying. so we get 5x - 5. You factored.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is given 10x+2x-7x so it is 5x -10-8+13=-5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so u dont get 19x -5
