PLEASE HELP!! the measures of two complementary angles are in the ratio 2:3. What is the measure of the smaller angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Complimentary angles are the angles which add up to 90 degrees.. The third angle is obviously 90 degrees assuming x as the common ratio 2x+3x= 90 This implies, x= 18 there fore 2x = 36, 3x= 54 Measurement of the smaller angle = 36 degrees
