What are the characteristics of low energy waves? long wavelengths and low frequencies short wavelengths and high frequencies high frequencies and long wavelengths low frequencies and short wavelengths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq lol thank you so much i wish i could repay you.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

frequency equals the speed of light divided by the wavelength \[\nu =\frac{ c }{ \lambda } \] Energy of a photon is proportional to the frequency and inversely proportional to it's wavelength soo higher frequency -> higher energy -> shorter wavelength

OpenStudy (aaronq):

lol no worries

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq so would it be D?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

nope, lower energy -> longer wavelength -> lower frequency

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq so a?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq one more i promise ?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

haha sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq okay im going to open a new question so i can give you another medal

OpenStudy (aaronq):

okay
