CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE! determine the volume of the block if you assume that each of the above measurements should actually be 0.1 mm higher than listed. height:254.7mm with:136.8mm length:25.3mm

the first part to this asked for the volume in cubic millimeters. i got 254.7 * 136.8 * 25.3 = 881,526.888 mm^3

but because of significant figures is it 8.82x10^5

That is correct. Now add .1 to each of the measurements and calculate the volume. Probably won't make a difference.

thanks it changed on the 3rd number and also was written with 3 sig figs

So when you write it out, and round it off to 3 sig figs, you got a different number in the second decimal point.
