How do I find the Domain and Range of radical functions?

The domain is the set of all possible x values that correspond to a real y value. The range is the set of all possible y values that correspond to a real x value. Both answers should be a set or range of values, not just one number (except in a few unusual cases). For square root functions, the domain will be all values of x that result in a positive value under the square root (because you can't take the square root of a negative). The range will probably be something like y >= 0.
