Cellular respiration is a series of complicated reactions. Some of the enzymes that are necessary for the reactions to take place effectively are not produced by the body and must be eaten in a person's diet. Which answer correctly explains what happens when a person's diet lacks the necessary enzymes for cellular respiration
Hey kid, it'd be great if we could see the choices that come with this question. Because we could tell you a lot about what happens, if our diet lacks the necessary enzymes. But we can't see what your choices are. ENZYMES are special proteins that kick-start, and speed up the chemical reactions in our bodies. They allow our metabolism to function. Cellular respiration is the process in which our cells produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate). ATP is a molecule that stores energy, which can be released wherever and whenever we need it. If we don't eat right, then our bodies won't get the enzymes that they need, for cellular respiration. And without the necessary enzymes for cellular respiration, we would have a shortage in the energy that our bodies need, in order to work and stay healthy.
