OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The avolume of a prism is the area of the base multiplied by the height of the prism. Find the area of the base (the area of a triangle with base = 5 and height of the triangle = 5) and multiply it by the height of the prism (10)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V=Area of Base x Height. Let the base be the triangle, and the height be the long length along the ground. Now, calculate the are of the triangle and multiply that by the long length and you will have your answer.

Copy the triangular thing to make a rectangular prism. The volume of a single Va will be 1/2 the volume of the rectangular prism\[V_r=lwh=5*4*10=200\]\[V_a=V_r/2=100\]|dw:1361429205532:dw|
