Suppose we roll a regular six-sided die three times and note whether it lands as an even number (E) or an odd number (O) on each roll. Which of the following describes the sample space for this random experiment?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, each time you roll a dice, there's a 1/2 chance of getting an even number, so if you did 1/2 over 3 times it would be 1/2/2/2, so 1/2, 0.5/2, 0.25/2 = 0.125. The sample space of an experiment is all the possible outcomes, so you could describe the sample space as having 1/0.125 = 8 different outcomes. Hope I helped. Note I'm not an expert, I'm just wait to have my question answered.
