I have tried wolfram alpha I got zero there, but that may not be the corrrect solution. There are 4 options:
a) sin^2 a b) cos^2 a C) sin^3 a c) cos^3 a

cosy /coty = siny

So your expression simplifies to x->a (sin x - sin a) =>0
