Ok good i had to take care of my little sister these past few weeks and couldnt get any of the reading done! I have a test on it next week and need to fill in the blanks on a study guide. 
Why did Penelope propose the archery contest and how is she a 'classic wife'?

She proposed the archery contest to stall the suitors that were trying to take Odysseus's place as her husband. She remained faithful and diligently warded them off. Thus she is called the classic wife. (As in the classical belief system. ie man and wife are married until death is proven)
