Question

I'm doing a descriptive piece in my class and our assignment is to describe a place without injecting ourselves into the description or creating characters. So like no "I saw" or "he felt" kind of thing.
I was wondering though, if I were to write something like "as one admired...." or "a person could see...." would that be against the directions of the assignment? I just need another opinion.
