first foil (4x+3)(x+2) to get \[4x ^{2}+11x+6\] then add 3 to get \[4x ^{2}+11x+9=0\] then use quadratic formula. if that trips you up post on here and I will help

you're teacher might not like the negative in the square root though, just depends on what math you are in
