What is the value of f(7) for the function f(x) = 2x - 5? (Type only the value of your final answer, no variables.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you find it? and are you sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, f(7) just means that you plug in the number 7 in any X value you may have. So in this case it'll be 2x7 which is 14 and then subtract 5 and you get the answer 8 :)
