The following statements refer to both a rhombus and a square: -- The figure is a quadrilateral (has four sides). -- All four of the figure's sides are equal. -- Opposite sides of the figure are parallel. -- The figure has four angles. -- Opposite angles are equal. -- The sum of the interior angles is 360 degrees. Note that a square is one special case of a rhombus.
