help multiple choice confused which system of inequalities is shown in the graph heres the pic attached

Directrix (directrix):

In looking at the diagram, the "solid" line is "falling" and therefore has a negative slope. By "solid," I mean that it is not dashed. That eliminates options B and D because the inequalities with negative slope do not include the "equal to."

I think it would be a to be honest

Directrix (directrix):

In A and C, look at the second inequality. The graphs there would be dashed so no help there.

@androidonyourface >>I think it would be a to be honest ---> Any reason why? Just wondering.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see since B and D get eliminated because the inequalitys negative slope dont equal to A is the closest . C the 2nd part in it doesnt look right

Directrix (directrix):

Of the two options left, I'm thinking A because visually, we're looking for the intersection of regions below the solid line and above the dashed line.

Directrix (directrix):

Also, I checked the point with coordinates (-2,0) to determine if it were in the shaded zone. I cannot say that the point test is a definitive one but combined with the other information, I agree with you. My final answer is A.

thanks I see Im doing another question thanks for showing

Okay, post it in a new thread. Let's take a look.
