@nincompoop
two more to come.
lol looks like a basic html web design good luck
I'm not going to use this for anything though. It was just for screenies.
I have to write a fake application for a fake position as a web designer for a fake company in my class.
throw in some CSS to make it look better at least and a few images
I don't anything about CSS. I literally JUST started with web design.
it's easy. it's your format template for fonts, images etc. look at css zen templates and see how it makes it look classy with very little work. there are tons of websites that teach CSS
I have no idea what most of the stuff in the toolbox on the left does.
Well, there's a template in here that uses CSS, but I can't change the text on the buttons and such ._.
So, I decided to just make a blank one.
http://www.csszengarden.com you create your own css or even tweak current css that are already being used. it's a separate file, much like a text file, that manipulates the design structure.
So, what do I do there? o-o
explore different css-manipulated websites and they give you the actual .css file and you can learn for yourself
Hmm... got any others?
Like, business-orientated websites?
the websites are listed on the right-hand side of the website. there are plenty of examples from personal to business to educational.
Oh.
Spring360 is looking pretty good.
Meh. I like Spring360 better :P
Now I have to figure out how to put CSS in VWD.
you need to access where the files are and then replace the .css file make sure you test it locally first so you know what it would look like http://www.csszengarden.com/?cssfile=091/091.css
Well, there's no .css in my website though.
Oh. I figured it out. I like the design, but I dunno how to make the fancy navigation sidebar.
most likely
most likely what? o-o
\(\Huge\text{I mean, it's bad.}\)
ya the color combination is terrible and your heading does it have to be that way?
Ehhhh, I dunno. The website itself isn't gooing to be used for anything...
you create .htm/.html files for the web page, then you call a .css file in your html code.
