How do you solve augmented matrices on mathematica?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LinearSolve[A,b]??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kidnap Adam Jensen and Neo, enter the matrix, and confront the Wizard of Math. Be prepared, as you must battle him with quantum mechanical inverse kinematic equations.

thanks!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

says: cannot compute, self destructing. What now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the mighty power of Vault Boy's Bluff and Hacking skill to force it to work.

sam (.sam.):

Try LinearSolve[{{a, b}, {c, d}}, {x, y}]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still working through it but can you not define an augmented matrix on mathematica?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well I tried Linear Solve[A, {0, 0, y, y}] since A is a 4,4 matrix and it 0 is not a valid variable.
