hmmm to clearly get the idea.. you ll have to have a clear idea about rotational motion.. and angular momentum conservation!! you know those concepts well?

angular momentum is a spinning wheel, apply an angular momentum to that angular momentum, you get precession, apply angular momentum perpendicular to it's axis of symmetry to procession you get nutation.
