The measure of two complementary angles is in the ratio 1 : 9. What are the degree measures of the two angles?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

complementary angles add to 90 so the ratio is 1:9 add the parts in the ratio 1+9 and then divide the angle size by the sum of the ratio. You will have the value of 1 part of the ratio... this is called the unitary method.. if you know 1 part then you should be able to calculate 9 parts.
