Anything you truly believe in, and reasonably expect others should also believe in. Use the old AIDA advertising formula to sell your essay. Attention - Interest - Desire - Action.
1) Open with a compelling paragraph to grab your target audience' attention.
2) Second paragraph to build their interest (why they should think something is the right thing to do).
3) Third paragraph to to make them WANT to do such and such a thing (reward to them - good feelings - good citizen, etc).
4) Fourth paragraph to tell them how to go forward and DO what you have just sold them on.
Edit and re-arrange sentences until you have the shortest possible essay. Write it such that you are proud of what you wrote: spelling, punctuation, not choppy, etc.
