yes y not, Andrew Johnson was like a representative of Southern Yeomen therefore he stated planters, (who were rivals of southern yeomaen) as stuck up aristocrats because the planters considered themselves superior

Yes, If author includes his or her opinion then you should be able to differentiate it into fact or opinion and you will get this when you consider the lines written before and after the line of consideration
