\(13x\) can be split into \(12x + 1x\):\[2x^2+x+12x+6\]group these:\[(2x^2+x)+(12x+6)\]factor out commons:\[x(2x+1)+6(2x+1)\]rearrange:\[(2x+1)(x+6)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(2x+1)(x+6)\]\[2x^2+12x+x+6\]\[2x^2+13x+6\]and thus it is proven
