Write the word, formula, and chemical equations for the reaction between hydrogen sulfide gas and oxygen gas that produces sulfur dioxide gas and water vapor. I've got 2H2S +3 O2 >> 2SO2 +2 H2O, but how do I do the rest? Thanks! :)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

whats the rest, the word equation?

Word equation & formula equation @aaronq

OpenStudy (aaronq):

um the word equation they pretty much gave you in the question, i guess you can elaborate and say: "2 moles of hydrogen sulphide gas and .. etc" it's chemical and formula equation the same thing? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok! Thank you! :) @aaronq I think they're almost the same!

OpenStudy (aaronq):

no problem! i think formula equation would be, for example, HCl for hydrogen chloride and the chemical the whole A + B -> C thing

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aaronq Oh okay :) That makes sense. Thanks!
