Well, if you're solving for x, than the answer is -30 degrees (or you can also say 330 degrees).. It's sort of intuitive but you can punch it into you calculator by typing: \[x = \sin^{-1}(-\frac{ 1 }{ 2 })\] and the answer you should get is -30 degrees or 330 degrees.
