Clinical Nurse Specialist,15(4):177-181 However this new production has been published by lippincott williams and wilkensbut the original has not been. where do I put lippencott and williams in the reference

If you are using MLA style, what you could do is find the citation information for the original version, cite it in your Works cited page, then put after it: rpt. in (short for "reprinted in") and then the info for the publication in which it was reprinted. You'll have a double-long entry on your works cited page, but you'll be able to fit in all the info. Or you could just cite the newer version you used and leave it at that :)
