Is the following relation a function? {(0.3, 0.6), (0.4, 0.8), (0.3, 0.7), (0.5, 0.5)} (1 point)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it's not because there exist 2 y-values for a single x value, i.e when x = 0.3, y = 0.6, 0.7. This means that the relation doesn't pass the vertical line test. Therefore, it is not a function.
