Isn't a peanut considered a meat?
No its a nut
No, but peanut butter is as high in protein as some meat. Plus meat comes from animals. Peanut butter is a product made from peanuts.

Just googled it and it says peanuts are in the meat category on the food pyramid. Therefor i am correct.
If it is, I don't know what animal it came from.
Wikianswer and yahoo answers said otherwise.
I don't need Wiki or Yahoo to figure it out.

I would like to see a site where it says peanuts are in the meat category.
You used Google to help you figure out if peanut is meat? Isn't that the equivalent of asking an artificial intelligence whether or not it is a human or computer?
But again, this is pointless. Good luck in your studies.
Thank you (-:
Don't ask me, ask LoPPn. He didn't know the answer. But again, he is probably trolling.

Oh thanks for informing me of this

so is peanut meat or wat?
Yes it is
1. Meat comes from animals. 2. In order for food to be meat, it must come from an animal. 3. Common sense applies.

Exactly abb0t
i was just about to say that Loppn :p
Look up a food pyramid
A food pyramid isn't an animal either.
& SamGracie great minds think alike (;
yes they do :p
Peanut is not a meal, but is is considered to be in the meat group nutritionally since it has high amount of protein. Apparently I should have told you research deeper.
Haha i cant believe this is actually going this far
You just proved me right
Lmao we take our peanut questions very seriously xD
Yes we do xD
The problem is people think that meat is synonymous with protein. Meat has protein in it, but it is not equivalent to protein. Likewise, peanuts are not meat. Furthermore, peanuts have their own "group" to be classified in.
But it is "considered" a meat. Which is what i said in the first place. I did not ask if a peanut is a meal or if it comes from an animal. Therefore, i am correct. It is considered a meat.
therefor i am correct also, omg thats a first for me :O
I don't "consider" it anything more than a "nut".
Well you aren't google so i dont care.
Wiki > Google
Google<You
uh ohh things just got real :o
You are the man. The smartest alive
Or the woman? xD
The funny thing about Wiki is, it has way more common sense than Google.
im a woman can you tell xD but im not the smartest alive :o
That depends on how you define your world. In my world, I'm the only one in it, so I am the smartest alive.
hmmm :o
You live in wiki world
i live in America :p
