Terrence answered 5 homework questions in 10 minutes. How long will it take him to answer 25 questions? A.12.5 minutes B. 15 minutes C. 30 minutes D.50 minutes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25 divided by 5 = 5 5 x 10 = 50 50 minutes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how much time does he need to do on problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh...now i get it...lol wow:O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for one problem to solve he need two minutes Assuming that Terrence is solving all of the problems at the same speed, then he is solving each problem in 2 minutes, because 5 problems that take 2 minutes to solve would be 10 minutes spent on homework. If he is doing 25 problems that take 2 minutes each, you would multiply 25*2, which would be 50, so 50 minutes

yeah i get it now,. thanks(:
