Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (3, -2) and parallel to y = 3x - 6. y = 3x + 7 y = 3x - 11 y = -3x + 11 y = -3x - 12

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):

since the line has to parallel to y = 3x - 6 so it`s slope is 3 clear ?? so general equation of the required line is y = 3x + c since the the line passes through (3, -2) it will satisfy the equation -2 = 3(3) + c now you can get the answer, can you?

y=3x-11?

OpenStudy (harsimran_hs4):
