Been trying to figure this out all weekend... Divide; Round to the nearest tenth. .16 divided by .03220.

OpenStudy (ohmaigosshh):

.16 divided by .03220 equals 4.968 so.... it'll be 5.0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh i've been doing it all wrong silly me thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait it said it was wrong

OpenStudy (ohmaigosshh):

your welcome :)

OpenStudy (ohmaigosshh):

how is it wrong? what were the answers that you could choose from?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it doesn't have a list, I just type it but it said it was wrong idk

OpenStudy (ohmaigosshh):

me neither.. because thats suppose to be right

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

5.0 is correct. Did you copy the problem correctly?

OpenStudy (ohmaigosshh):

see i knew i was right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep .16 divided by .03220

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry, I did it backwards. It's .03220 divided by .16. Oops. @OhMaiGosshh @mathstudent55

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

I tried that already. It's 0.2

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Do you have a calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, got it thanks you I hate when I do that -___-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And yes I do, that's what I'm using.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Then simply enter 0.0322 / 0.16. You get 0.20125, right?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Since they ask for rounding to nearest tenth, and the 2 right after the decimal point is in the tenths place, the answer is simply 0.2
