Help please! The formula for degrees Celsius is: C = (F − 32), where F stands for degrees Fahrenheit. Part 1: Solve the formula for F. Show all steps. Part 2: Determine how many degrees Fahrenheit 2 degrees Celsius is.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

There is something missing in your formula. Make sure you have the formula correect before you start.

my bad C =5/9 (F-32)

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You want to solve for F. 32 is being subtracted from F, but the quantity that F is in, (F - 32), is being multiplied by 5/9. First get rid of the 5/9 by multiplying both sides by 9/5.
