jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

All of the central angles add to 360 degrees

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so 3x + (3x+10) + (2x) + (2x - 14) + (4x) = 360 solve that for x

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

once you have the value of x, use it to find 3x+10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well all are 360 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay for the first part I got x=26 now what?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

now use this to find 3x+10

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

3x + 10 = 3(26)+10 = ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

26

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

use a calculator if you need to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, I got 26 as an answer

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you don't have a calculator, you can use google as a calculator http://www.google.com/search?hl=&q=3%2826%29%2B10&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B3GGLL_enUS420US420&ie=UTF-8

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

all you do is type in the math expression ... which in this case is 3(26)+10...then hit enter just as if you're searching for it then google will calculate it like a calculator and display the result

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

26 is the answer for x but the real answer you want is the value of 3x+10 (not just x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh 88 now I get it lol

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you got it
