The shorter leg of a 30°- 60°- 90° right triangle is 12.5 inches. How long are the longer leg and the hypotenuse?

OpenStudy (zehanz):

The sides have a ratio of a : a√3 : 2a (shortest leg, longer leg, hypothenuse)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh so i can do 12.5 x 2 and then that x 3?

OpenStudy (zehanz):

12.5 x 2 is ok, but the longer leg is √3 times as long as the shorter leg.
