if the bible and qura are from allah why do they disagree with each other?

OpenStudy (fools101):

while... Christian missionaries, who are interested in proving the superiority of the Bible to the Qur'an, say that the Christian Bible (the Old Testament and the New Testament) is the true word of God while the Qur'an is not. They try to prove this by asserting that when the Qur'an's narratives differ from the Bible's narratives about the same event; the Qur'an must be wrong. ~Jess~

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Uh... correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe that the Bible was written or came from Allah.

OpenStudy (fools101):

Sam i was wondering the same thing but i'm not sure!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, yeah that just caught my eye when I was scrolling through the History questions.

OpenStudy (fools101):

no wait it didn't it came from the Muslima**

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Muslima?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's what it says on my exam :l

OpenStudy (fools101):

yes =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

typo ? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean Muslims? All three monotheistic religions branched out from the same... founders I should say. If you look, they have some of the same ideas.

OpenStudy (fools101):

Hey Ddcdasc are u taking bible class? or something

OpenStudy (fools101):

Oh lol Sam! yes that Muslims** sorry!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They all have the same 'holy land', one god that they worship, and even their religious texts are alike.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha! That's what I though. I stared at it for a while before figuring that out, lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im the most atheist person you could possibly know :l im taking some class on flvs

OpenStudy (fools101):

while kind of because Muslims don't believe in son of god, just god!

OpenStudy (fools101):

oh that is cool ddcdasc!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uh huh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well yes, there is a difference. However they're basis are relatively the same. They have their differences. I'm an Atheist as well, but still always good to know about religion ^-^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't have a choice

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you're lucky - most Americans are deprived of information (outside of themselves) resulting in their 'one way' brains/ideas. Never hurt to have a little knowledge.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

while that is true , i'm not a big fan on religion unless it had to do with buddism or Neo Nazis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this question sure did draw a crowd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I'm closest to being Hindu, probably because of whom I grew up with. I've always found religion interesting and certainly worth studying. it's our roots, where we came from - while I might not agree with it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol, ya. Probably because of the bible & allah thing. Certainly caught my eye.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that is interesting :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and yeah typos happen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ya.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well that's all i have for today folks i can do the rest on my own thanks for the help and time that you offered.

OpenStudy (fools101):
