how would you set up your equation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

700=1,300-100p?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah! Now what do u think u need to do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-600=-100p p=6?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jus a min, im workin it out on my paper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, i got the answer tell me how you worked it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait, u got the right answer, how did u get there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtracted 1,300 from both sides got -600=-100p then solved for p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well idk how u did it like that cause u have to re set the equation so u stay with positive numbers but u got the right answer.
